Helen Elizabeth Hartz passed away in the Absolut of Gasport. Born April 22, 1924 in Hartland, NY, she was the daughter of Walente and Karolina (nee Bolska) Raczkiewicz. Helen enjoyed cooking, helping family and just generally taking care of people.
Helen is the mother of Alan Hartz and Martin Hartz; grandmother of Jennifer Williams and Carey Hartz and 3 great grandchildren. She is the sister of Joseph, Edward, Edmund, Maryen, Henry and Leo Raczkiewicz and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 3 to 7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.
