Janis L. (Clark) Steblein entered into rest on June 16, 2015 in Gasport, NY. She was born September 8, 1931 in Lockport and was the daughter of Edna and James Clark. She went to Lockport High School and went to work as a secretary at Harrison Radiator for five years before starting a family. Janis was married to Edward L. Steblein who passed away October 26, 2008. She was a homemaker and enjoyed antiquing and yard sales as well as her grandchildren.
Janis is survived by her three children Edward of Provincetown, MA, Carol (Brian) Little of Gasport, and Jane (Jack) Punch of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren Erica Little, Brooke Little, and Joseph Little; sister of Elwood Clark of Buffalo/Naples, FL and late Edith Cummings and Edward "Bill" Clark; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 18th from 6-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, June 19th at 9 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
