Judith E. "Judy" Gerstung entered into eternal rest on June 1, 2015 in Odd fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born to Carleton E. and Marion A. (Phyl) Beck on March 8th, 1937 in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from the old Lockport Senior High School in 1955. Her class was the last class to graduate from the school. She attended Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. Just married Lloyd W. Gerstung on February 23rd, 1963 and had their son Scott Alan Gerstung on April 30th, 1965. Besides her husband Lloyd Judy also leaves behind her son Scott and his wife Kristen, her sister Janice L. Brynilsen and her husband Rolf E. Brynilsen; sister-in-law Rebecca Gerstung; two nieces Beth (Barry) Scott, her daughter Elise and Karen (James) Anstey, her kids Karissa and Colton; two nephews Paul Moran and his wife Deborah and Gregory Gerstung. Judy loved her flower gardens and many treasured pets. She often traveled to the Adirondack's where she enjoyed many weeks in the summer. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn cemetery, Buffalo. Memorial donations in Judy's name may be made to Canine Helpers for the Handicapped, 5699 Ridge Rd., Lockport, NY 14094 or to Save-A-Pet, PO Box 114, Newfane, NY 14108 would be appreciated by the family.
