Obituary of Robert Michael Lewis

Robert Michael Lewis, Jr., passed away Friday September 26, 2014. Born in Biloxi, MS, on October 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert and Sue Kizziar Lewis. Robert served in the US Army from May of 1971 until November 1972, during the Vietnam War. While in the Army, Robert earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (w/3 bronze service stars), Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Badge Machine Gun M-60, Sharpshooter Badge Rifle M16, First Class Hand Grenade, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citatian (w/palm) and the Bronze Star Medal. He enjoyed working on his computer and listening to music.
Robert is survived by his son, Michael Shawn Lewis and his sister, Mary Etta (Charles) Roeser.
There will be no prior visitation. Memorial donations to the Wounded Warriors Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org would be appreciated. Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
