Armie Lee McDowell Brown went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2014 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Drewey, AL on October 11, 1931 the daughter of Henry and Virginia (Kirkland) McDowell. Armie was predeceased by her husband Allen Brown, along with her two daughters, Ella Stewart and Margurite Peevy. She is survived by her son Thomas (Priscilla) McDowell of Middleport; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister of Henry McDowell, Jr., Sarah (Joe) Price, Earnestine (Hilton) Maxwell, Roy (Shirley) McDowell, Sidney McDowell and Dorothy Washington; and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Sept. 23rd from 10-11 AM services will follow at 11 AM at Faith Emmanuel Temple, 66 Locust Street, Lockport.
