Susan M. Jarosch died suddenly on Friday, May 30, 2014 in Ocala, Florida, her home since 2008. Born in North Tarrytown, NY (since 1996 known as Sleepy Hollow, NY) on May 16, 1964, she was the daughter of Jaroslaw A. &amp;quot;Jerry&amp;quot; and the late Elizabeth &amp;quot;Betty&amp;quot; /&amp;quot;Bunny&amp;quot; Jarosch. While earning her Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Politics from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, Susan spent a year abroad studying in London where she interned in the British Parliament. Susan also earned her Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Fordham University, where she was also a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science. Susan also earned a Master of Science degree in Education from Canisius College. She taught high school and middle school social studies in Salamanca, NY, in Westchester County, NY, and in Marion County, FL. Susan had a powerful intellect. She was an expert on the lives of the Kennedy&amp;#39;s and on the life and times of Laura Ingalls Wilder of Little House on the Prairie fame. She published short stories online and in Woman&amp;#39;s Day magazine. She was an avid fan of professional tennis; she spent hours cross stitching gifts for friends and family; and she was a voracious reader. Susan also was a walking encyclopedia of movies, actors and Hollywood. Susan is survived by her father; her brother, Stephen, and his wife, Denise; her niece, Tatiana, and her nephew, Sebastian. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Thursday June 19 at Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 20th at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Thursday June 19. <h3>Services</h3> A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 20th at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport.
