Obituary of Alvin Robinson

Alvin E. Robinson passed away May 15th, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Bay View, VA he was the son of Luis and Rustine (Baker) Robinson. Alvin served in the U.S. Army, after being Honorably Discharged in 1957 he served ten years in the Army Reserves. He retired in 1991 as a foreman after 37 years from Harrison Radiator, Div. of GM. After retirement he continued be a "gentleman farmer" which he enjoyed along with music, playing his guitar, reading Scripture and spending time with his family. Alvin was pre-deceased by his wife, Rebecca Rose Robinson in 2005, brother James Robinson and sister Anna Mae Williams.
He is survived by his children Sonny King, Kevin King, Rustine King Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Christine Robinson, Lockport, Swanthia Hilson, Middleport, Alvin (Vivian) Robinson, Buffalo and Peter (Denise) Robinson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister Thelma Harvey of New York City; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday May 19, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held Monday May 20, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Ridgewood Bible Church, 7073 Ridge Road. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday May 19, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 20, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Ridgewood Bible Church, 7073 Ridge Road.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
