Please share a memory of Francis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bud Lewis passed away peacefully on May 14, 2013. Born in Lockport in 1939 to the late Dr. and Mrs. Francis E. Lewis, Sr., Bud was predeceased by his brother, Thomas James Lewis. Bud is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce Carol Lewis; children Richard (Lisa) Lewis, Todd (Lenette) Lewis, Wendy Mackenzie, Melanie (David) Vtipil, Mike (Laura) Bishop, Julie (Carolyn) Bishop, and Danny Bishop; sister Mary Ann Redmond; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bud graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1957. Although he spent the majority of his life working as a long distance truck driver, Bud cherished his memories of working on the family farm. Throughout his life he was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish. Bud was a member of the Redman Club. In his late years, Bud loved spending time at his summer home with friends, family, and "the chippies". Bud would gladly tell you what a lucky man he was and said, "I had a wonderful life." He will be greatly missed by those whose life he touched.
