Obituary of Dorothy Taylor

Dorothy E. Taylor passed away May 13, 2013 under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Born in Raeford, NC on May 15, 1924 and she worked for Harrison Radiator in production for 33 years retiring in 1981. She was a member of the FOE 825 and Wrights Corners Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, needle working, playing BINGO and traveling. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Lee W. Taylor, Jr. on March 10, 1999, two sisters and her son William Gibson.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Virginia (late Anthony) Rongo of Lockport; step-mother of David, Peter, and Paul Taylor; also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, May 15th from 5-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 16th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
