Obituary of Judith Schultz

Judith A. Schultz went to heaven surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday May 4, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Fairmont, West Virginia on September 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Marjorie Brookover. Judy worked at Tops Markets for 22 years and was currently employed with the Office of the Aging for Niagara County for the past 7 years. She loved tending to her friends all over the county and when she wasn't doing that she loved to read, play cards and watch movies. One of her most loved and honored passions were her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life. Holiday times and birthdays were her favorite times. If she couldn't be with her grandchildren then she would most likely be found tending her beautiful flower gardens. She leaves behind not only the vibrant "flowers" that represent her family, but also the myriad of smaller "gardens" that she most tenderly cared for. Her loving manner and smile will be missed.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Martin D. Schultz; children Derrick (Tia) Schultz, Alison (Gary) Gilbert, Jeff (Kim) Copeland; grandchildren Morgan, Kylie, Tristan, and Mara Gilbert, Kyra and Graham Schultz, Kylie and Kyle Copeland, Bricen and Bailey McNeal. Judy was the sister of Rick (Martha) Brookover and Kathy (Phil) Newman; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, on Thursday May 16, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Palliative Care Program-Office of Advancement, P.O. Box 278996, 300 East River Road, Rochester NY 14627 would be appreciated by the family.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday May 16, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11AM.
