Obituary of Mrs. Patricia Castle

Mrs. Patricia K. Castle, formerly from Lockport and Wilson, N.Y. and Auburn N.Y. entered into eternal peace on Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Auburn N.Y. Pat was born in Lockport on March 17, 1926, the daughter of Raymond and Rhea Kreuzer. She was formerly employed by the City of Lockport as a Clerk to the Mayor. In 1948 she married John "Jack" Castle and became part of the Castle Dairy Family. She also was the receptionist at Dr. William Caslte's (DDS) office for many years. However, her most enjoyable work was her employment with the Senior Citizen's Center as Executive Secretary to the Executive Director of the Niagara County Senior Citizen Association. There she made many friends whom she spoke about so often of in her retirement years Upon her retirement, she and Jack enjoyed many wonderful years living in their self- designed retirement home on Lake Ontario in Wilson, N.Y. After the death of Jack in 1996, she continued to live on Lake Ontario and enjoyed the visits by friends and any family members who made the effort to stop and visit with her. She was also predeceased by her much beloved son, Thomas J. Castle (1990). She is survived by her son Timothy A. Castle and his wife Kristina J. Castle (Townsend) of Auburn N.Y.: her Grandchild Kathleen Carnes of Lockport and her Great Grandchildren Joshua and Courtney Carnes also of Lockport, and many nieces, nephews and grand -nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Johns Church on Chestnut St. in Lockport NY. at 10:00 A. M. on May 10, 2013. A greeting line will precede the mass at 9:30. As Pat would want, family and friends are asked to join Tim and Tina for a luncheon at Cammarata's Restaurant on Robinson Rd. in Lockport immediately following burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
