Obituary of Kathryn Barry

Kathryn L. Barry passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday May 4, 2013, in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Buffalo on August 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Matilda Faulkner Blarr. Kathryn worked as the Corporate Secretary, for Barry Steel Fabrication for 24 years, retiring in 2001. She was a longtime member of ST. Mary's R.C. Church in Lockport and of the Zonta Club. Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Beverly Barry, who passed away January of 2005.
Kathryn is survived by her children Joan (Thomas) Fenzl of Ohio and Carol Barry and Steven (Jody) Barry, both of Lockport. Grandmother of Steven Barry, Thomas Fenzl, Nicole (Andrew) Northrup, Dr. Kimberly Fenzl, MD, Shannon (Mark) Scalabrino, Jason (Sarah) Barry, Jonathan Stockton and the late Brian Fenzl; great grandmother of Kaydin, Lucas, Alizah, Phoebe, Elizabeth and Lydia. Kathryn was the sister of Alvin Blarr of Florida and the late Grace DeAngelo; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive #6 Buffalo, NY 14221, would be appreciated by the family.

<h3>Services</h3>
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.
<h3>Interment</h3>
Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
