So sorry to hear of Barb's passing ... she will be missed. Love this photo of a bright-eyed, spirited, smiling, beautiful Barb! She is no longer in pain ~ and though we are sad and will miss her ~ our loss is heaven's gain. I can imagine Jesus greeting Barb with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant ..."

Roger and Family, Our deepest condolences on your loss. I had the privledge of working with Barb for 18 years in Newfane. Barb had a gift for teaching. She was a mentor and example for me in the early years and valued collegue. One of the greatest teachers I have ever had the privledge of working with. She will forever be remembered by her pure competence in all she did. Students first, always a life long learner. Any child in her care was given the best she had everyday. Her skill with some of our most challenging students served as an example for all of us and an asset to them. I know her influence on the future is secure in the diffence she made in each of her students lives and the skills she shared so selflessly with myself and all of her collegues over the years. Thank-you for sharing her with all of us.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy on the death of Barbara. As you cherish fond memories of her, please find comfort in the promise of our Lord, who has been given the authority to resurrect those in the graves to life, as stated at John 5:26-29. This will happen in the very near future. Imagine how overjoyed you could be when you are reunited with Mrs. Schiffert again. I pray that this Bible based truth brings relief to your grieving hearts.

Dear Roger and all members of Barb's loving family, On behalf of my mother and all the Quirk family from Lockport, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you at this most difficult time. I remember meeting Barb several times many years ago when Beth would come to Lockport for a visit and she indeed was a loving, talented person who contributed so much to the Lockport and Newfane communities. Since this is also "teacher appreciation week", it is fitting to honor her memory as a gifted teacher who no doubt made a huge difference in the lives of her former students. Our hearts go out to all of you and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy, Joanne Quirk Doyle
