Obituary of Amelia Neglia

Amelia Neglia passed away April 21, 2013 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on October 8, 1923, she was the daughter of Carmine and Christina (Picone) Trifone. Amelia was a self-employed accomplished seamstress and enjoyed singing and gardening, especially her roses. After her husband retired, Amelia and her husband moved to Stuart, FL, where they resided for 20 years. Amelia was predeceased by her husband, Ilvio Claudio Neglia, who passed away November 17, 2010.
Amelia is survived by her children, Gianna A. (Thomas Cleveland) Mesler of Amherst, Claudio C. (Mary Beth) Neglia of Lockport, and Sandra K. (Robert) Miller of Indianapolis; grandmother of David M. Mesler, Jason C. Mesler, Alyssa M. Neglia, Jamison M. Neglia, Catherine M. Miller, and Alexander R. Miller; great-grandmother of Mia Adrianna Mesler and Mason Claudio Mesler; sister of the late Mary, John and Raymond; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, April 24th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 25th, at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 25th, at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.

Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
