Francis Henry Sippel of Lockport passed away April 12, 2013. Born May 22nd 1923, he is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joeleen Murphy Sippel, his son William (Mary) Sippel, his daughters Suzanne (James) Korneliusen, Deyanne Sippel, six grandchildren Jon-David Crowe, Jamie Crowe, William (Alison) Crowe, Brett (Melissa) Sippel, Kevin (Kathy) Sippel, Ty (Kerry) Sippel, and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Eugene.
Frank joined the Marine Corps in 1943 and served three years in the Pacific during W.W. II. He worked for United Board and Carton and later joined the sales staff of the Upson Company. A member of the Elks Club and the AOH, Frank enjoyed his family and friends and loved to share his stories of the North End.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1200A Scottsville Road, Rochester, NY 14624 or Niagara Hospice. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com
