Obituary of Florence Foster Easterby

Florence A. Foster Easterby passed away Saturday April 6, 2013 in Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Center, born in Lockport on September 16, 1928; she was the daughter of the late Willard and Mary Johanning Emerson. Florence worked as a payroll clerk at Harrison Radiator for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, reading, camping, hiking and playing cards, especially bridge. Florence was a member of Club 60 and Grace Episcopal Church. She is predeceased by her husbands, Gordon M. Foster, who passed away December of 1972 and Albert Easterby, who passed away February of 1996; her stepson John Easterby and brother Willard Emerson, Jr.
Florence was the mother of Paul (Becky) Foster, of Lockport, Susan (Donald) Kinyon, of VA., and stepmother of Pauline (Richard) Ehle of Rochester; stepmother in-law of Yvonne Easterby of Buffalo. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her dear friend of 80 years, Norma C. Peterson.
Friends may call Monday 4 to 8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorials to the Care Fund at Ridgewood Bible Church or to the Newfane Food Pantry would be appreciated by the family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
