Obituary of Joan Sposito White

Joan C. Sposito White passed away April 3, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lockport on January 25, 1934 she was the daughter of Walter and Eunice Mae (Finley) Kathke. Joan was the church secretary for over 30 years at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Lockport. She enjoyed reading, gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Joan was predeceased by her husband Christ Sposito in 1980.
Joan is survived by her husband Brian F. White of Lockport; mother of Timothy Sposito of Fenton, MI, Candace (Richard) Podgers of Lockport and Cathleen Burrows of Barker; step-mother of Michelle (John) Bost and Denise (Asi) Adorian; grandmother of Stephanie (James) Carl, Justin (Robyn) Burrows, Elizabeth Podgers, Lynea Bost, Colby Bost, and Geffen Adorian; sister of the late Shirley Stahli; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 4th 7-9 PM and Friday, April 5th 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6th at 11 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church Abiding Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 4th 7-9 PM and Friday, April 5th 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6th at 11 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport.
<h3>Interment</h3>
Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
