Obituary of Robert Wojewoda Sr.

Robert B. Wojewoda, Sr. passed away suddenly April 1, 2013. Born in North Tonawanda on September 9, 1932 he was the son of Joseph and Wanda (Zazycki) Wojewoda. Robert served in the US Army from 1952 to 1955. He was a New York State Trooper for 25 years retiring on December 31, 1987. Robert was a member of the NYSPBA, Good Shepherd Church, was a jack of all trades and a master of some, and enjoyed woodworking, duct tape repair and shopping for tools. Robert is survived by his wife Nancy (Cribbs) Wojewoda of Pendleton; father of Robert B. (Carla) Wojewoda od Lockport, David Wojewoda of Lockport, Daniel (Michelle) Wojewoda of Lockport, John (Lisa) Wojewoda of Niagara Falls, James (Daisy) Wojewoda of Weare, NH, Nancy (Paul) Cuddihy of Ballston, NY, Susan Wojewoda of Lockport, Christine Voit of Lockport and the late Linda Wojewoda-Nye; grandfather of twenty-two and great grandfather of four; brother of Arlene Riley of San Diego, CA. There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Mass in Robert's memory will be announced at a later date.
