I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Jeanette. I visited her several times this past summer (2013) and on Halloween (2013) with my poodle, Gidget. Gidget dressed up and did tricks for the residents at Newfane Nursing Home and she laid on the bed with Jeanette. I'm not sure she remembered exactly who I was, but we talked and she went on about the poems one of her girls had written. She was very proud of those and showed me the album she kept at her bedside. She looked very good for her age! My friend, Tom Say, is the assistant activity director at the nursing home and he knew her. She was a flirt until the end! ha ha. I plan on coming to the funeral home on Wednesday but cannot attend the funeral as I work full time. I just moved back to Lockport in the summer of 2013 and started my job in December. I am truly sorry for your loss and look forward to seeing you guys (if you remember me!) Val Ring (Harrington)

My mother was Jeanette's sister Lola; they were very close. I imagine they shared everything and I have a number of memories of them tlaking to one another in person and on the phone. My main memory of my Aunt Jeanette is of her smiley face, easy laugh, a joyful person who enjoyed life.

So sorry for your loss of your mother, I remember her as such a sweet lady. Growing up next door to your family was some fond childhood memories. A special one was playing with her jewelry and dressing up! Another was having her special pancakes in the morning! God bless , you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
