Obituary of Sharon Emendorfer

Sharon Emendorfer passed away March 8, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born March 31, 1940 in Lockport she was the daughter of Edward and Gladys (Gibson) Powers. Sharon owned Powers Cleaning till 1993 and worked for the City of Lockport from 1999 to 2006 where she also was the shop stewardess for the union. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Sharon was predeceased by her husband Michael Emendorfer in 1968. Sharon is survived by her children Carrie Duda of Arizona, Theresa (Carl) Salmeri of Lockport, Michael (Lisa) Emendorfer of Platteville, WI and Laura (Pat) Blackley of FL; grandmother of eight; sister of Ed Powers of Boston, MA, Pat Schuler of Lockport and Margaret Wertman. Relatives and friends may call Monday, March 11th from 3 to 7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 12th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.
