Obituary of Mary Puff

Mary Brady Puff passed away on November 17, 2009 at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. She has resided at Heritage Manor, Lockport since January 2006. Born October 26, 1913 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada she was the daughter of Peter and Margaret Brady, Mary moved to Lockport at 10 years of age and has resided her since. She married Alex Puff on June 16, 1934, he predeceased her in 1988.
Mary is survived by her sons Norman Puff and Douglas Puff both of Lockport; mother-in-law of Karen Puff who was just like a daughter to Mary; her brothers Norman (Veronica) Brady of Lockport, James (Elsie) Brady of North Tonawanda and a sister Hazel Calos of Lockport. She was the grandmother of twelve, great grandmother of twelve and great-great grandmother of four. Mary is also survived by many, many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Sandra Glenn and also by her two sisters Ethel Chambers and Margaret Gormley.
Mary enjoyed a wonderful social life including crafts, sewing and traveling. She was an extraordinary baker and will be sadly missed by all her many family and friends. "Aunt May" was loved by all.
Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM.
