Obituary of Claire Piette

Claire Piette passed away January 10, 2013 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Macamic, Quebec, Canada on August 15, 1922 she was the daughter of Arthur and Bernadette (Roy) Bolduc. Claire was a member of the Dale Association, the Mother's Club, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church where she belonged to the Altar &amp; Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, playing board games and cards and especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Claire was very proud of her Quebec origins and embraced them. She was predeceased by her husband Leopold Piette on May 15, 1971. Claire is survived by her nine children Lucette (Frank) Kydd, Carmelle (Joseph) Blarr, Jacques L. (Betsey) Piette, Marc (Brenda) Piette, John (Terri) Piette, Bernadette (Evan) Geller, Denise (Kevin) Feeley, Michael (Dawn) Piette, and Tony (June) Piette; grandmother of twenty-four and great grandmother of twenty. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Jan. 12th from 4-8 PM and Sunday, Jan. 13th from 2-6 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 14th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
