Dennise L. Myers passed away after a brief battle with cancer at Niagara Hospice House, Monday November 9, 2009. Born Match 19, 1945 in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of Thomas and Norma (Shaffer) Fittante. Dennise was a 1963 graduate from LaSalle High School and enjoyed shopping, vacationing, cooking, loved her pets Tootsie and Joey and was an avid Buffalo Sabres fan. She was predeceased by her devoted husband and soul mate John R. Myers on July 28, 2007. Dennise is survived by her daughter Michelle Myer and her son whom she was very proud of Peter Myers both of Lockport. She is also survived by her aunt, Noreen Howard, cousin Gail Knipp, sister-in-law Susannah (Gene) Bolin, niece Chel Bolin, nephew Mark Bolin and her dear friends Jackie &amp; Brett Dimmick. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday at 2:30 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
