Beulah Faatz Obituary

Beulah Agnes Faatz passed away Monday December 31, 2012 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Hartland, on January 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Edna Sara Reed Bixler. Beulah was a Dietician's Aide for 32 years, at Mount View Hospital, she retired in 1982. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Christian Women's Club, and she enjoyed sewing, cooking/baking, working in her flower beds and especially spending time with her family. Beulah is predeceased by her husband Harold J. Faatz, who passed away January 15, 2004.


Beulah is survived by her children Marcia (Magdi Ahmed) Fokas of East Elmhurst, Queens, NY, J. Brian (Dale) Faatz of Churchville, NY and Melissa (Donald) Ziemendorf of Sanborn. She was the grandmother of Melinda (Chris) Miles, Sara (Joshua) Austin, Stephanie (Matthew Murry) and William Ziemendorf. Beulah was the sister of Thelma Chapman of Cortland, NY, Wendell Bixler and Reed Bixler, both of Arizona and the late Duane Bixler, Donna Hleboski and Lucille Beebe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.


Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Saturday morning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Glewnood Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.

Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.


Services

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 AM at the funeral home.


Interment

Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
