Michelle L Bowers passed away in Niagara Hospice house December 26th, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was born March 3rd 1961 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter Margaret (Thompson) Edbauer and the late Howard Edbauer. Michelle enjoyed crocheting as a pass time but her true enjoyment came from family, especially her grandchildren. She worked as a nursing assistant at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport for 10 years retiring 2011 due to health.
Michelle is survived by her husband Robert Bowers; mother of William (Kortnee) Perry of Lockport, Douglas (Jessica) Perry of Alden, Scott Perry and Renee Perry both of Lockport; step-mother of Robert Bowers, Jr.; grandmother of Jonathan Tenbroeck, Aiden Tenbroeck, Elizabeth Perry, Breanna Perry and Logan Tenbroeck. She also is the sister of Howard (Lynn) Edbauer of Lockport, Frances (Patrick) Gormley of West Amherst, Pamela (Michael) Ball of Lockport, Sandra Edbauer of East Amherst and the late Rose Kobos; sister in law of Robert Kobos, William Bowers and Debra and William Dunham.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday December 29, 2012 from 1 to 5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held immediately following at 5 PM.
