Wade M. Blood passed away Tuesday December 18, 2012 in Ontario, Canada. Born in Lockport on September 7, 1956, he was the son of Myron and Jessie (nee Annalora) Blood of Newfane. Wade worked for the past 24 years as a truck driver for George W. Campbell on Grand Island. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, and especially spending time with his friends and most importantly his family. Beside his parents, Wade is survived by his wife of 33 years Pamela (nee Merz) Blood of Lockport; father of Michael Blood of Lockport and Sarah (Brian) Quackenbush of Jacksonville, FL.; and grandfather of Amelia Quackenbush. He was the brother of Carla (Randy) Nellist of Albion and the late Kim Blood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 3 to 7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
