Obituary of Joyce Wiepert

Joyce E. Wiepert passed away December 10, 2012 at Odd Fellows and Rebekah Nursing Home. Born July 17, 1931, she is the daughter of the late Clinton and Mabel (Conner) Griffin. She was predeceased by her late husband Lloyd Wiepert. Joyce worked for Quality Care nursing for twelve years as a home care aide. She loved gardening, traveling, reading, and feeding the wildlife with her four leg companion Mindy. Joyce was a life long member of St Peter's Lutheran Church in Cambria. Joyce is survived by her daughter Donna (late Richard) Bailey-Hillman. She was predeceased by her daughters Mary (late Jody) Catalano, and Terry (Ronald) Brosius. Grandmother of Jody, Jesse (Joanna), Carrie (Kevin), Kevin (Michelle), Amy, Tim, and Kenneth (Luz). Great Grandmother of Joshua, Gabin, Claire, Baby Bailey, Kevin Jr, Carter, Camden, Austin, Trenton, Mason, and Savannah. She is predeceased by her brother Norman (Ruth) Griffin. She is the sister in law of Louis (Ruth) Jr, late Gerald (Beverly), Harold (late Ellen), Carl, and Merton (late Gloria) Wiepert and Elizabeth Griffin. Friends may call Thursday 11 AM to 2 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 2 PM.
