Howard Willis passed away Monday December 3, 2012, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born May 3, 1926 in Medina, Ohio, he was the son of the late Leonard and Minnie Fay Richard Willis. Howard served in the US Army from 1945 until 1946 in the 881st Ordinance Company. He worked with Consolidated Freightways as a truck driver. Howard enjoyed working on cars, playing pool and spending time with his family. Howard is survived by his wife Mildred (nee McGovern) Willis; father of Gregory (Kari) Willis, Rebecca Willis and Diane (Jay) Olner; grandfather of Jayson, Neva, Kelsi, Jenniffer, David, Sara and six step grandchildren. Howard was the brother of Nellie (Ralph) Hicklin of Wadsworth, Ohio, and the late Lloyd Willis, Fred Willis, Marjorie Gerspacker and Margaret Willis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday December 11th 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 AM. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Friends may call Tuesday December 11th 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday morning at 11 AM.
