Obituary of Ruth Huber

Ruth L. Huber formerly of Lockport,NY passed away November 17,2012 in the Park Creek Assisted Living, Williamsville with her family at her side. Born May 18,1923 in Williamsville she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Helena (Seefried) Leising. Ruth was a nurse, working at Children's Hospital for 7 years and Lockport Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. She was active in the Home Bureau and enjoyed painting art work, ceramics, Card Club and loved her gardens especially her flower gardens.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband Daniel G. Huber on February 9,1989. She is the mother of Tom G. (Jasmin) Huber, Daniel A. (Mary) Huber both of Australia, David L. (Kathleen) Huber of Gasport, Patricia F. (the late Michael) Higgins of North Carolina and Linda K. (the late Arthur) Zelasko of Williamsville; grandmother of nine and great grandmother of four. Ruth also is the sister of James H. (Jean) Leising, Williamsville, Zeta Allen, Kenmore, Sylvia (Lloyd) Hahn, Snyder, Bernice (Carl) Leichtnam, N.C., Norma Pfohl, Williamsville, Joan (Robert) Walker, PA and Robert (Barbara) Leising, Williamsville and the late Mildred Leising, Delia Allen, Rita Laubacker, Irma Gray, Albert, Vincent and Norman Leising. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday November 18th from 7 to 9 PM and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Memorials to the Church or Hospice Foundation of WNY, 225 Como Park Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227 would be appreciated.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery
