Ward Benedict Jr. Obituary
Ward F. Benedict, Jr. passed away October 28, 2009 in Medina Memorial Hospital. Born February 25, 1924 in Lockport he was the son of Ward F. and Walburger (Giebel) Benedict, Sr. Ward worked for Harrisons Radiator where he worked in production. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Ward is survived by his children Linda (David) Jones, Kevin Benedict, Mark (Kim) Benedict, Karen (Dave) Mrowka, Bob (Chrissy) Benedict, Laura (Randy) Higgins, and Brian (Patty) Benedict; step-father of Carl Williams and Paul Williams; also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother of Glenn (Barbara) Benedict and the late Earl, Delos, Orlo, Norman Benedict and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Please visit www.pruddenandkandt.com to leave an online condolence to the family.
