Sally, Honey and Ed I wanted to extend our sympathy to each of you and your children. As we all know, Shirley was one heck of a beautiful person and dearly loved by all who knew her. I still can't believe I won't see her beautiful smile anymore and know how deeply you all will be affected by this loss. We are so sorry that we can not make it to the funeral as we leave early Sat. a.m. on a flight to FL. Hardly a decent excuse to miss a very special persons funeral, but she will be in our thoughts and prayers as each of you will be. Shirley had the death that I pray for all the time to just fall asleep and wakeup in heaven. We know that is the case for her - I'm still praying that I can have the same. Love you all - and hope Lois is healing and getting better each day. All our best, Nancy and Tom

On behalf of the Western Zone of the New York State Retired Teachers' Association (NYSRTA), sympathy and prayers are extended to the family of Shirley. She and her late husband Edward were both lifetime members of the NYSRTA. In her memory, a donation will be made to the Robert DeCormier Fund of NYSRTA, which assists retired educators in need. May she rest in peace!

Heartfelt sympathy to the family of Shirley. She and Ed joined us on a trip to Branson with the Western Zone of the New York State Retired Teachers' Association, and they were both so happy, and added so much congeniality to the trip. Shirley had a perpetual smile and beautiful attitude, and her love was shared with all. She is in Heaven, and will watch over all of her family and friends.
