Obituary of William Boyles

William G. Boyles passed away October 17, 2012 in Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Endicott, NY he was the son of Ransom and Lavancha (Hill) Boyles. He served in the Army Air Corp. from 1941 to 1944 in the Philippines. William worked for 20 years for Linde Corporation and then went to work for Kodak Corporation, Rochester, NY from 1967 to 1986 when he retired. He was a former member of the Masons and enjoyed working on cars and gardening. William is survived by his wife Doris (Blackman) Boyles of Lockport; father of David S. (Marie) Boyles of Lockport and Janice Ann (Tim) Witte of Indiana; grandfather of Josiah, Nathanel, and Bethany Kelly, Alyssa, Caitlin, and Christopher Boyles; great grandfather of Judah Kelly; brother of Fay Boyles, Cleo LaBarron both of Endicott and Jane Morgan of North Carolina; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, October 19th 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, October 20th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
