Obituary of R. Fox

R. Ernest Fox passed away October 8, 2012 under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Born in Redfield, NY on September 23, 1933 he was the son of Manford and Marguerite (Bennett) Fox. Ernie worked for Pembroke Construction where he was a foreman and was an avid bowler. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred Fox on May 27, 2001. Ernie is survived by his children R. Ira (Patty) Fox of Oneonta, NY, Steven (Sandra) Fox of Rochester, NY and Karen (James) Stevens of Middleport; grandfather of four, great grandfather of eight and one great-great grandchild; brother of George (Millie) Fox of Chittenango, NY and the late Donald (Carol) Fox and Shirley (Frank) Tallerico; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, October 10th 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery. Donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
