Janet Jenkins passed away Saturday October 6, 2012 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born on May 14, 1952 in North Tonawanda, Janet was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Cox) Ford. She is predeceased by her husband Sherman Jenkins, Sr., who passed away June 9, 1999. Janet is survived by her children Rosina (Paul) Mount of Fort Wayne, Ind., Kevin (Stacie) Jenkins of Lackawanna, Timothy (Abigail) Jenkins of Portage, OH and Katherine Jenkins of Port Smith, VA.; step-mother of Robin Jenkins of Baltimore, MD., Sherman Jenkins, Jr. of Bowling Green, KY, Rochelle Jenkins and Warren Jenkins, both of Lockport. Janet is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and several siblings. Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.
