Obituary of Anthony Cercone

Anthony J. Cercone passed away September 24, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born December 27, 1934 in Bradford, PA he was the son Angelo and Carmilla (Festa) Cercone. Anthony worked for Harrison Radiator for 28 years where he was a forklift operator retiring in 1995. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. Anthony enjoyed cooking, golfing, the Buffalo Bills and especially spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife Judith A. Cercone on October 22, 2008.
Anthony is survived by his children Ronald S. (Lisa White) Cercone, Scott A. (Judi) Cercone both of Lockport, Kimberly S. (Raul) Scott of Albion, AJ (Amanda) Cercone of Lockport, Joanne D. Cercone of Rochester and the late Kevin G. Cercone; grandfather of Craig, Jennifer (Jeremiah), Nicholas, Kayla, Melody, Kevin, Autumn, Anthony and Ashley; great grandfather of Isabella and Cayden; brother of Christine Charnisky of Bradford, PA, Frances (Tom) Evans of Marietta, GA and the late Anunzio, Dominic, and Angelo Cercone; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, September 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27 at 11 AM in Faith Tabernacle Church, 5676 Beattie Ave., Lockport. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Donations to Light of Victory, 47 Brown St., Albion, NY 14411 would be appreciated.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27 at 11 AM in Faith Tabernacle Church, 5676 Beattie Ave., Lockport.

Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
