Rose Sposito of Lockport passed away on Friday August 10, 2012 at Niagara Hospice House. She was born in Lockport, NY on January 6, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (DiFranza) Vitone. Rose attended school in Lockport. She worked at Norton Laboratory for over 20 years and was the crossing guard at DeWitt Clinton Elementary School for over 20 years. Rose is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank Sposito of Lockport. She is also survived by her sisters, Theresa Buczkowski, Frances Golanka and Anna Currie, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dear friend of Mary and Bob Ledsome of Rochester and Felix and Carmen Ortiz of Florida. There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday May 16, 2012 at 10 AM in All Saints Parish Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport. A private graveside inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> There will be no prior visitation. <h3>Services</h3> A Memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday May 16, 2012 at 10 AM in All Saints Parish Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport. <h3>Interment</h3> A private graveside inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
