Maxine M. Latini passed away July 24, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born May 26, 1940 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Wilford and Rose (Greenwood) LaVean. Maxine worked in production for Harrison Radiator, enjoyed bingo and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Kennedy. Maxine is survived by her son Trait (Bernadette) Smith of Lockport, and step children Robert (Tammy) Latini of Lockport, Michael Latini, Cheri Grubbs-Dickerson and Felicia (Ed) Head all of Arizona; grandmother of Kennedy Smith, Shannon Kanalley, Shawn Latini, Bobby Latini, Nicci Proefrock, Andrew Ventura, Christy Kearns, and Katie Ventura; great grandmother of Lucas Kearns, Jason, Shalynn, Hayden, Evan, Samantha, and Peyton; sister of Tom (Maye) LaVean of Tonawanda, Patricia (Jim) Prosper of Potsdam, and the late Donald LeVean; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 27th 4-6 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 28th at 10:30 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Donations to Kids Escaping Drugs, 920 Harlem Road, PO Box 643, West Seneca, NY 14224 would be appreciated. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 27th 4-6 PM. <h3>Services</h3> A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 28th at 10:30 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
