Marie Ternan passed away June 22, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane and according to her wishes her body was donated to UB Medical School. Born April 25, 1957 in Reno, NV, she was the daughter William and Nancy (Gates) Ternan. Marie worked for Denny's Restaurant where she was a waitress for 20 years. She enjoyed cats, crafts, country music and especially spending time with her family and friends. Marie is survived by her children William Harris and Kayla Harris both of Lockport; grandson Keith Danley; sister of William Ternan of Medford, OR; dear companion Carmen Jemison and dear friend Jaime Atkinson.
