Frederick J. Serafin passed away June 22, 2012 in Newfane Rehab &amp; Health Care Center. Born April 2, 1944 in Budapest, Hungary he was the son of the late Sophia (nee Szekelyhidi) Brunner. Frederick served in the US Army and was an English teacher for 30 years for the Lockport City School District teaching English at North Park Middle School. Frederick is survived by his children Erik ( Maria) Serafin of Emmett, KS and Kerin (Joseph) Jendrzejewski of Wilkes Barre, PA; grandfather to Annie, Simon, Anthony, Raymond, Gregory, Helena, Audrey, Madeline, Brianne, Haley, Joseph and Emily; brother of Henrik (Janice) Brunner and Sophia Brunner both of Lockport; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, June 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27th at 10 AM in Glenwood Mausoleum. Interment will be in Glenwood cemetery. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, June 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. <h3>Services</h3> A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27th at 10 AM in Glenwood Mausoleum. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Glenwood cemetery.
