Obituary of Roy Westcott

Roy T. Westcott passed away June 20, 2012 under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Born September 12, 1924 in Hartland he was the son of Roy and Elizabeth (White) Westcott. Roy served in the US Army from 1943 to 1945 during WW II in the Rome Arno Campaign and received the Purple Heart. He worked for Bell Aerospace Systems where he was a machinist and was an independent businessman running RT Westcott-Lathe Specialties which was located on Campbell Boulevard. Roy was a member of the American Legion, a 35 year member of the Red Jacket lodge and will always be remembered as a very happy man. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian (Miller) Westcott on September 6, 2010.
Roy is survived by his children Douglas (Christine) Westcott, David Westcott both of Lockport, Marcia (John) Clifford of Gasport, Jeanne (Scot) Hall of Lockport and Robert (Deborah) Westcott of Holly; grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of twenty-five; predeceased by four brothers and three sisters; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
