Obituary of Rev. Marjorie Glascow

Rev. Marjorie A. Glascow passed away June 10, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born October 31, 1934 in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of Raymond D. and Anna P. (Brady) Motter. Marjorie graduated in 1951 from Lock Haven High School, and in 1954 from Lock Haven Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse and later became a United Methodist minister serving the Central Pennsylvania Conference at several different churches seated at Millmont, Mill Hall, South Williamsport, Gardners and Oval, retiring in 2005. She was a graduate of Wesley Seminary course of Study, and earned a B.S. degree from Lebanon Valley College in 1985. In 1996 Marjorie was a missionary to Africa.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters Michele (Ronald) Malone and Elizabeth (Brian) Baer; grandchildren Ronnie and Anna Malone, and Andrew and Abraham Baer; sister Louise M. Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her two brothers Raymond (Mary), Motter, Jr. and Richard (late Vivian) Motter.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 4 PM in Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave., Lockport. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 1-2 PM in the Mill Hall United Methodist Church, 212 South Danis St., Mill Hall, PA on Saturday, July 7, 2012 where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2 PM.
