Obituary of Phyllis Murphy

Phyllis B. Murphy passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on June 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Augusta Earenhardt Berent. She loved bowling and attending her high school reunions. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband Rae Murphy, who passed away February 3, 1982. Phyllis was the mother of R. Bradley (Darcy) Murphy of Lockport, Jeffery (Kelly Sylvester) Murphy of Lancaster, PA. and Stephen (Edie) Murphy of VA; grandmother of Christopher Murphy, Tonya (Andrew) Murphy-Toft, Allison Murphy and Brandi Zolick; and great grandmother of Zoe Dolton and Abigail Zolick. Phyllis was the sister of Edith Draffin and the late Ruth Harrington, Ray Berent and Charles Berent, she is also survied by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 4 PM, followed immediately by a funeral service at 4 PM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice, would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Friends may call Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 4 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Wednesday 4 PM, at the funeral home. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
