William E. Cordle passed away June 7, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born December 14, 1930 in Virginia he was the son of Charles and Mattie Cordle. William worked as a truck driver for GM Powertrain, Tonawanda. He enjoyed going to the casino, camping, spending time dog, Sammy and his deceased dog Teddy, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. William is survived by his wife Irene (Bergquist) Cordle; father of Nancy (Terry) Drury, Daniel (Elaine) Harris, Mark (Karen) Cordle, Patricia (Patrick) Seward, and the late Dennis Cordle; grandfather of seven; brother of Betty (Bobby) Davis, Sheila French, Jackie Cordle, Bobby Daniel (Macy) Cordle, the late Russell Cordle, Helen Lambert, and Martin Eugene Driver; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, June 10th 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday, June 11th at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
