Obituary of David Keleher

David P. Keleher passed away June 6, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born October 31, 1940 in Lockport he was the son of Daniel and Mary (Lentivech) Keleher. David served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1966 earning the Good Conduct Medal. He worked for International Multifoods where he was a mixer for 37 years retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Navy/Marine Club, American Legion B. Leo Dolan Post 410, and the AOH. David enjoyed walking, riding his bike, playing cards and was an avid sports fan. He was predeceased by his wife MaryElena (Cappola) Keleher on February 12, 2005.
David is survived by his children Daniel (Michelin) Keleher of Liverpool, NY, Jacqueline (Jeremy) Keleher-Hughes of New Orleans, LA, and Brian (Heather) Keleher of Lockport; grandfather of Julia, Madeline, Daniel, Madison, Sophia, and Elena; brother of Dennis (Myra) Keleher of Florida; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, June 10th 1-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where prayers will be offered Monday, June 11th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
