Obituary of Ruth Harrington

Ruth V. Harrington passed away May 29, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born March 20, 1919 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Adam and Augusta (Earenhardt) Berent. Ruth was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Lockport and also the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing crafts. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Everett J. Harrington on March 14, 2000 and also by her son John Harrington. Ruth is survived by her daughter Judith (Richard) Blackley and her daughter-in-law Gloria Harrington; grandmother of eight and great grandmother of ten; sister of Edith Draffin, Phyllis Murphy both of Lockport and the late Charles and Raymond Berent; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, June 1st 4-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2nd at 2 PM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
