Obituary of Karl Meiling

Karl Meiling passed away suddenly May 18, 2012. Born May 26, 1921 in Yugoslavia where Karl was a cobbler by trade before immigrating to the United States in 1955 with his wife and four children. He worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years where he was in production, retiring in 1990. Karl raised homing pigeons. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Maria (Lach) Meiling on March 24, 2012. Karl is survived by his four children Steven (Gayle) Meiling of Solon, OH and Daniel (Annette) Meiling of Churchville, NY, Magdalena (Gary) Brockman of Lockport, NY and Kathryn (Theron) Main of Plant City, FL; 10 grandchildren: Theron (Anna) Main, Erin (George) Verghese, Adam (Tiffany) Main, Daniel, Steven, and Zachary Meiling, Rachel Brockman, Erica Meiling, Andrew (Brittany) Meiling, and Gregory Brockman; 3 great grandchildren: Emma and Theron Main and Ethan Verghese. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, May 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will held Monday, May 21st at 11 AM.
