Obituary of Charles Spencer

Charles T. Spencer, 75, went to be with his Lord on May 18, 2012 after a brief illness. He was born in Lockport on August 2, 1936. He was the son of George and Margaret (Butler) Spencer. Charles worked at Harrison Radiator for 43 years retiring in 1998. He attended Pendleton Center United Methodist Church for 53 years and volunteered at the Pendleton Food Pantry for 20 years. Charles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly (Thompson); his 2 daughters Vickie Spencer and Carol (Robert) Visscher; his three grandsons Spencer, Blake and the late Andrew Visscher. Brother of the late Clara (Donald) Carlin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, corner of Bear Ridge and Campbell Blvd. Interment will be in Bear Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Pendleton Center United Methodist Church would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM <h3>Services</h3> Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, corner of Bear Ridge and Campbell Blvd. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Bear Ridge Cemetery.
