Obituary of Irene Jenkins

Irene Helen Jenkins passed away May 14, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born April 9, 1938 in Lockport she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Baty) Lee. She worked for Harrison Radiator in production retiring in 1997 after over 30 years of service. Irene enjoyed bowling, bingo, going to the race track and the casino, gardening, cooking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and her friends at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Ulford "Tiney" Jenkins in 1999.
Irene is survived by her children George "Tony" (Mary) Richardson, Jr. of Hartland, Elizabeth "Itzie" Richardson, Kathleen Horton both of Lockport, Sandra (Richard) Snyder of Niagara Falls, Charleen Hannon of Lockport, Kim Hannon of Niagara Falls, and Ulford "Tiney" (Kimberly) Jenkins, Jr. of Lockport; grandmother of Christopher, George "Ton" III, Jason, Shannon, Angela Richardson, Stephen, Dylan Lewis, Alex Hannon, Hanna and Joel Jenkins; several great grandchildren; sister of May Davis of Lockport and the late Evetta Flores, Floyd Williams, Elizabeth Evans, Robert Lee, and Jimmy Lee; niece of the late Norman Lee; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 Noon. Interment will be Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
