Vera Mae Brown passed away October 13, 2009. Born July 18, 1939 in Polk County, FL she was the daughter of Robert and Erma (Johnson) Clark. Vera Mae worked for 3 years at Brockport College, 8 years at General Motors, Rochester and 18 years at Metal Cladding, Lockport. She enjoyed sewing, watching sports and construction projects. Vera Mae is survived by her children Terry Brown, Renee Hibbert, Regina Brown all of Lockport, Michele Brown of Georgia, Cheryl Brown, Scott Brown, Michael Brown all of Lockport; grandmother of Mahogony (Turner) Beverly, Theresa, Jeremy, Keah, Leah, Mykele, Melaine Brown, Meesha Sherry, Kaylee Turner and Eric Sober; great grandmother of Azuri Brundidge, Mahkayla Beverly and Ethan Scott Harris; sister of sister of Johnnie Mae Morant, Rufus Clark, Ernie Clark, Stella Jackson, Barbara Jean Beauford, Milton Clark, Catherine Johnson, Wayne Clark, Gwendolyn Oest, Beverly Clark, Charles Clark and the late Rutha Mae McKenzie and Betty Gadsden; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
