Vincent E. Heschke passed away April 14, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born April 4, 1936 in Lockport he was the son of Edward and Fern (Ward) Heschke. Vincent worked for Rainbow Stables, Lockport where he was a farmhand. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Redman Club. Vincent is survived by his children Rex (Barbara) Heschke of Lockport, Peggy (Bill) Stout of West Virginia and the late Edward Heschke; grandfather of Travis, Andrew, Joel, Randy, Krystal, Daniel, Charles, Jedadiah, Naycle, and Rachel; great grandfather of Lydia, Jacob, Samuel, and Jeremy; brother of Fay (Winnie) Heschke of Lockport, Nancy (Lee) Sonker and Sally (Rob) Becham both of Newfane; also several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Wednesday evening at 7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
